Progressive Apocalyptic Revelation
And if you will receive it, this is Elijah or Elias, which is the Greek form of the Hebrew name, Elijah meaning ‘YAHWEH is My God’
Inevitably, to the modern-day Pharisees, Pastors, Elders and the religious leaders, Elijah is no more than a pest, trouble maker, disturber of their peace and right to worship as they please, according to their traditions and customs, an angry and vexed critic of their religious organisation.
The Wilderness
YAHWEH, who is Elijah’s God, has prepared him for the exaltation from a nobody to somebody, who God has selected as His chosen vessel to exalt and glorify His Most Holy and precious Name in all the earth in Christ.
Elijah’s desert experience and journey is intended to humble him. He had to decrease in order for Christ to increase and be the centre of his life.
It’s the journey of sanctification, to be made righteous in Christ and ultimately at the end of the process of preparation, to be revealed as a son of God and joint-heir with Christ, in all His glory to the praise of God Father finished work of recreation.
Tent of David
Elijah has had the greatest privilege. It’s to dwell in the secret place of the Most High. His faith and obedience to YAHWEH led him to be just like Abraham, to live in tents as a sojourner and temporary resident in the land.
Elijah was guided by the Holy Spirit to a resting place, where he pitched his tents and stayed in one place on public display for three and half years (42 months). There he dwelt in the same place until God moved him on through personal affliction.
Babylon’s Punishment
Babylon is Fallen. The writing is on the wall. Get ready for his mighty fall from grace, from it’s self-exalted status a great, mighty and exceptional of leadership, nobility and royalty. Divine judgement and retribution is coming to the mighty men of war and oppression, who subjected many nations under their tyrannical and barbaric leadership for hundreds of years. Babylon cities grew rich and wealthy on the back of the blood of those they worked to death for no wages, denying them equal justice under the law. They are refused proper legal representation and rights as human beings, with unrighteous decisions and decrees by their judges even to this very day. Isaiah 10:1-3
This is a history of which Babylon proudly boasts, with a haughty and arrogant spirit. Have they not read the Scriptures: “Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” Proverbs 16:8
Divine Retribution
The party is over! This injustice shall soon be no more, says the Lord. The Sovereign Lord of Hosts is preparing for a sudden and unprecedented power shift. It will be the public manifestation of which will be like nothing ever witnessed before on the whole inhabited earth. It will suddenly and unexpectedly, like an earthquake of Biblical proportions, causing a tsunami type wave, a wind rush that will wipe everything in its path aside. This event shall happen at any time. It’s set for an appointed and proper time for optimum impact. It is set before the foundation of the earth by the Alpha and the Omega.
The protected remnant of God’s chosen people Judah and Israel exiled in Babylon and scattered throughout the nations will be restored. And they will rule over their [former] wicked oppressors and slaves masters. Isaiah 14:2
The Great and Terrible Day Comes
There will great consequences for the rejection of the word of the Lord, spoken through His prophet Elijah, the prophetic messages of all the prophets of old, and ultimately the teachings of Jesus Christ (Messiah) Himself recorded in the Gospel message according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, including all the letters of Apostles of Christ.
God’s Justice & Mercy
The Day of the LORD comes! On that great and terrible day situations between the political and religious oppressor and the oppressed will be reversed. The Lord pours out His indignation and wrath on the descendants of Babylon for their wickedness, barbaric violence, iniquities, arrogance, pride, haughty spirit and proud boasts.
The Lord will overthrow the thrones and destroy the power of the kingdoms and of the heathen unrepentant nations. Luke 1:50-55
God’s New Creation
Elijah, can confidently declare, “I am no longer a product of my race, nationality, culture or environment, but I am God’s new creation in Christ. My spiritual life is now a product of His saving grace and mercy, and His revealed Word of Truth according to his eternal plan and higher purpose and desired will for my whole new life in Christ.”
The Scriptures says, Put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him– a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all. Colossians 3:10-11.
Destiny & Purpose
BEHOLD, God is doing a new thing with big surprises on a global scale, which in fulfillment will topple great kings, lords and rulers of the nations, who have sold themselves out to lawlessness and corruption. Luke 1:52
Now like the prophet Habakkuk observed and said, As it was then, so it is today. Lord and my God, Why do You make me see iniquity, and cause me to look on wickedness? Yes, destruction and violence are before me; Strife exists and contention arises. Therefore the law is ignored and justice is never upheld. For the wicked surround the righteous; Therefore justice comes out perverted.
The Lord declares, “Look among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your days- You would not believe it if you were told. It is going to happen.. suddenly!
