Elijah Has Already Come

Jesus is coming soon. But Elijah must come first.

Remember, God promised in Malachi 4:5 and later confirmed by Jesus in Matthew 17:12, that one just like with John the Baptist, and another Elijah type forerunner, must come first in this the Biblical last days, to prepare the way, restore all things, and usher in Christ’s second coming.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elijah has come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they liked. Matthew 17:11-12

Despised and Rejected

This is the testimony of Jesus Christ, coming to Him as a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:4-5
